My first half marathon.

Well I did it! I ran my first half marathon.  Overall I had a wonderful time. The knee braces helped, even on leg that had the fibula removed. Wish I could say the same for my foot.

I have enjoyed reading about your recovery and it makes me feel better about my upcoming operation. During a routine teeth cleaning my dental hygienist discovered my molars on the left side of my jaw were sitting low. After Xrays I was diagnosed with a cyst by my dentist. He sent me to Anchorage (I live in a smal town in Alaska). That was march 3rd. March 20th I got my first operation to remove the cyst. March 27th pathology came back as ameloblastoma. As of today I am in Seattle, Washington. My jaw resection surgery is scheduled for April 25th at harbor view medical center by Dr Neal Futran.

Thank you so much for writing about your experience!
