Creating new teeth

Today I just wanted to post a few photos of the implant process that I went through.  You will see various photos from the impression that they took of my jaw, up to the actually new teeth, or bridge themselves.

What you see above is an  X-ray with 4 implants.  One, however could not be used.

In this impression of my mouth, you can see the top part of the implants or abutment.

Here is the rawest form of the bridge itself.

The bridge will be placed on top of the abutment.
The final product. It is ready to be cemented into my new jaw.

I have had the new teeth for about 2 1/2 years.  It is different eating on that side of my jaw but I have gotten used to it.  I am just glad to have a full set of teeth.

Wow! I just happened upon your blog which is amazing because I'm going through the same process right now. . .I'll be glad when it is done and I can smile again. Thanks for the pictures.

Congratulations on your new teeth!
I cannot wait to get mine done, I am missing 6 front bottom teeth.
I presume it was painful to get used to implants.
At least this is the end of amelo story. thanks for sharing!

Hi, I happened to see your post about your experience on dental implants, just today. I noticed that you posted this last July, so I was wondering how are they now? I mean your teeth. I'm planning to get one as well at Austin this coming holiday vacation.

Months have passed already, and I can only imagine your new set of pearly, white teeth. We’re lucky that these dental implants were invented, since these are a big help in gaining back confidence to one's self. Anyway, any updated post on this? Hope you’ll direct me to the link. Thanks! :)
